Early Life
Adam is a native Michigander who was raised in Northville Township. Integrity and good old fashioned hard work was always a priority in the Stathakis family. Adam spent every summer and school break helping out at his family's business wherever he could lend a hand.
Adam’s unrelenting work ethic also extended to his academic pursuits, which paid off when he won the full merit Batten Scholarship to attend high school at the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana. Adam’s time at Culver was a foundational period of his life, where he had the opportunity to hone his leadership skills and embrace the concepts of duty and honor to become a strong leader of character.
Education:
Adam continued his education at Hillsdale College, an independent institution of higher learning that is focused on a Western philosophical, theological, and traditional liberal arts curriculum. It was at Hillsdale where Adam shaped his insights on Conservative ideals such as limited government and the preeminence of the United States Constitution. Adam served on student government, as Pro Consul of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and as President of the Accounting Club. He graduated with a BA in Accounting in 2018, and still serves the College as an alumni volunteer.
Career:
Following college, Adam was eager to join his family’s Building Service Contracting Company full-time and focus on growing the company. Starting as an entry level Operations Manager, Adam worked his way up to the Director of Operations, where he is currently responsible for 24/7, 365 day service delivery to large commercial, medical, and industrial facilities throughout all of Southeastern Michigan and Northern Ohio.
Adam’s role at Stathakis Inc involves formulating intricate service delivery mechanisms that require interfaces across all levels within an organization; ranging from custodial staff responsible for maintaining cleanliness right up to C-Suite executives. Adam is a holder of the prestigious Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) Accreditation and serves on the Membership Advisory Committee of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI).
Personal:
Adam moved from Northville Township to join the Livonia community in 2019, and has been a homeowner there ever since. Outside of work, Adam serves as an Assistant Coach for the Livonia United Girls High School Hockey Team with his significant other Corrin. Adam loves the Northville, Plymouth, and Livonia communities and looks forward to continuing to serve the residents of District 22 in any way that he can - because Adam Works For Us!
