Lower Taxes & Support Fiscal Responsibility
In order to prevent families and businesses from continuing their mass exodus from Michigan, it is imperative that we do everything possible to lower taxes across the board, and decrease spending by our State Government. Lowering taxes for individuals allows them to keep more money from their paycheck. The State government doesn’t know how to spend your family’s money better than you do. In addition, lowering taxes for businesses will make our state a better place to do business, and draw businesses back to Michigan to create jobs. I am committed to fiscal responsibility in our Government; a cornerstone which will propel Michigan forward.
Restore Parental Voice to Our Kids' Education
Parents know what’s best for their kids and they deserve to have a voice when it comes to deciding what is taught in the classroom. Michigan’s Constitution even says that schools and parents should work together to develop a child’s education. I will fight to protect parents’ right to be involved and ensure they receive transparency and accountability from local schools.
Protect our Senior Citizens & Lower Health Care Costs
Given the rise in inflation due to reckless spending at the federal level, it is now more important than ever to provide relief to our seniors by removing the senior pension tax. As your next state representative, I will work towards eliminating this tax on our seniors.
The Governor’s decision to place COVID-positive recovering patients in the same healthcare facilities as healthy residents and patients was a disaster. It is impossible to know how many seniors were needlessly infected and lost their lives as a result. Additionally, separating seniors from their families was wrong. Seniors have the right to see their loved ones regardless of where they are living. I will fight for senior and family rights and will not tolerate putting seniors in harm’s way.
I will also work towards enforcing strict penalties on anyone who runs scams targeting seniors and their well-being. It is despicable to prey on our society’s most vulnerable.
Promote Public Safety & Support Law Enforcement
Major cities in our country are experiencing crime waves due to radical soft-on-crime policies. It is concerning that some cities have a revolving door at the jail for criminals. As your next state representative, I will work towards ensuring that this never happens in our state or near our home.
I am committed to standing up against the radical “defund the police” movement. Our departments in Northville, Plymouth and Livonia are exceptional and put their lives on the line for us every day that they put on their uniform. They have our back, and I will have theirs as your next state representative.
Uphold Freedom of Speech
Freedom of speech is a Constitutional Right that should never be infringed upon by Government. I am 100% committed to dismantling and destroying the left-wing censorship regime in Michigan. If we don’t have free speech in America, then we will no longer be a free country. By restoring free speech, we will begin to reclaim our democracy.
